If one grasps so the musical happening in the world, it is noticeable that it is particularly Australia, which its geographical separatingness expresses also in the sound.

One orients to European and American currents, builds themselves however thereby its completely own thing. In the EBM scene that became meanwhile very fruitful. Refuels and Angeltheory is the most well-known examples, which brought it to the supraregional admittingness. Could in the near future also Empty from Sydney in addition-push.

This volume makes a fascinating sound, which possesses distorted Vocals, but by its very spherical TRACKS a certain balance in the play of the energies causes. Roughly said it is intelligent the Australian form one Electro, how Seabound maintain it. But words are sound and smoke. One must incorporate this EP, in order to feel this sound.

Eight Songs are contained of two Remixe on the small Silberling, among them, once of Angeltheory (very much geil!) and of Iammynewt. Angeltheory had gotten naturally also a very good collecting main: "Blue" is the most beautiful with distance, which gives to hear it in the electronic sound production in this year. In addition, the other pieces are equal.

"Ghost Besides You" for example begins with some Synthietoenen, before slowly the whole piece becomes larger to a voluminoesen song. To Empty one cannot dance, but one is always stopped nevertheless, itself said to this music or better: move with this music.

Threateningly and beautifully at the same time. Accurately 36 minutes pure atmosphere, which is locked with the easily experimental "alone". Somewhere with aggressive Untertoenen fed, by superficial leaving however well hides. That is an art, which controls Empty like no second volume. And therefore one can only hope that also in Europe this project makes itself broad.

Rating: 6 / 6 (100%)

A breath of badly needed fresh air.
