Review from Music Nonstop:
A natural successor to Slovakian label Aliens Productions excellent "Signs ( Bio Forms )" compilation released in 2005 - New 16 track collection "HyperReality" once more pushes and pulses at the boundaries of cutting-edge sound design with another malignant yet perfectly assembled outpouring of Industrial pioneering, darkest Electro and ambient atmospherics set to keep even the most jaded electrophile sated. Things kick off with Kenji Siratori's "Industrial Boy" - a muted and varied journey through muffled samples and off kilter rhythms / atmospherics sure to upset your neighbours / parents / pets - especially when it mutates into a kick a** industrial dance track two thirds of the way through. Highlights ( on an album full of them ) include the rhythmic punch of Terminal State's "Behind The Enemy", the heart wrenching and sublime melodic gorgeousness of Xabec's "Open State" ( this is just awesome ), the vocoder Electro of "Alone" from Empty and the old school EBM of Gaping Chasm and the menacing Electro overload of Last Influence Of Brain with their track "Recently". Running the gamut of Electronic styles from atmospheric Industrial through to intelligent Electro and beyond "Hypereality" offers a top quality excursion through a myriad of alternate genres - always thought provoking and always of a high standard. Excellent ( again ) from Aliens Productions ( who allways seem able to coax the very best from the artists they put out ) the small Slovakian label with talent and a lazer guided sense for quality control.
